Move anything. Change everything.
Any wallpaper. Any look. Any layout.
Eight wallpapers, five looks, three layouts, in a few seconds. Drag a card to move it, restyle the whole thing, swap the sky. No account, no card, and the layout is never the thing you pay for.
Tell your AI what you want
Say it to your AI. Watch it appear.
Ask Dashy Agent, or connect Claude or ChatGPT through MCP, to work with your dashboard. Add widgets, organize tasks and update notes through tools you authorize. This interactive scene illustrates the V2 experience in development.
One tab, many dashboards
One click and the whole day changes shape.
Focus for the morning, Work for the afternoon, a Weekend board with nothing that nags. Keep as many dashboards as you like and switch with one click. Watch them turn.
The widget that doesn’t exist yet
Describe it. Your AI builds it.
Describe a water tracker, packing list or a tool of your own. Preview and refine an AI-generated widget before adding it beside the built-in ones. Custom widgets run in a sandbox; cloud generation has separate usage costs.

Bring in what you already use
Your calendar, your tasks, your code. Already there.
Connect Google Calendar, Todoist or Google Tasks, GitHub, Notion or Linear once, and the widgets fill themselves in. Each service has its own sign-in, permissions and supported actions.
The rest of it
More than a new tab. Quietly.
Start with a quiet Home view or build a widget dashboard for work, study and everyday life. Add the tools you need, and keep the rest out of sight.

Questions about Dashy
- What is Dashy?
- Dashy is a customizable new tab dashboard and side panel for Chrome. Bring tasks, notes, calendars, bookmarks and weather together, or keep a quiet Home view. V2 adds work on Claude and ChatGPT connections through MCP and AI-generated custom widgets. This site previews V2; the original is available to install today.
- Is Dashy free?
- Personalizing the new Dashy is free: wallpapers, soundscapes, widgets and layouts. Cloud sync, connected services and cloud AI are part of paid plans. We’ll publish plan details when the new Dashy launches.
- Does Dashy work without an account?
- Yes. The new Dashy’s local widgets, wallpapers and layouts can be used without an account. An account is needed for cloud features such as syncing dashboards between computers and connecting services.
- Which browsers does Dashy support?
- Chrome on desktop is the primary browser for Dashy. You can install the original Dashy from the Chrome Web Store today. We’ll confirm the new release’s full browser compatibility when it launches.
- Can Claude or ChatGPT change my Dashy dashboard?
- That is a V2 capability in development. MCP connects an authorized assistant to supported Dashy tools, so it can work with widgets, tasks and notes. It is more than a link that opens a chatbot. Connection availability depends on the assistant, Dashy account access, granted permissions and the release. Public connection instructions will be published when ready.
- Do I have to use AI?
- No. AI is optional. Local tasks, notes, links, layouts and supported everyday widgets remain useful without cloud AI. Cloud services and AI have separate account, permission and usage requirements.
- Is this the self-hosted Dashy dashboard?
- No. Dashy at dashyapp.com is the new tab dashboard and side panel. The self-hosted dashboard project at dashy.to is a separate product.
- When does the new Dashy arrive?
- The new Dashy arrives in October 2026. Join early access to get one email when it is ready. The original Dashy is available in the Chrome Web Store today and continues to work separately.
