Which Dashy do I have?

If you installed Dashy from the Chrome Web Store, you have the original. The new one is not in the store yet, so nobody has it by accident: it arrives in October 2026, and this page lets you request launch updates.

Does the original stop working when the new one arrives?

No. The new Dashy is a separate listing, not an update, so the original stays installed and is not automatically replaced by V2. Two listings, side by side.

Will my setup move over?

Only if you decide to move it. Migration is planned as an opt-in flow. We will publish the supported import scope and instructions before launch; do not assume every setting or integration will transfer automatically. Staying put is a perfectly good answer.

Should I install the original today?
