Start with a clock and a wallpaper, or arrange a dashboard around tasks, notes, calendars and weather. Switch between dashboards for work, study or personal life. Add, move and resize widgets without filling every space.

Choose a wallpaper or use your own, change the look of your widgets, and add ambient audio when you want it. A still background and a sparse layout can be just as useful as a full productivity dashboard.

Use Dashy in Chrome’s side panel to keep supported tasks, notes and tools beside a webpage. The new tab offers room for a full layout; the side panel offers a narrow workspace while you browse.

Dashy Agent, Claude and ChatGPT

In V2 development, Dashy Agent and authorized Claude or ChatGPT connections can use dashboard tools through MCP. Examples include adding widgets, updating notes and organizing tasks. Permissions, account access and client support apply.

Create a widget from your own idea

Describe a small tool, preview the AI-generated widget, refine it and choose where it belongs. Examples include a water tracker, packing checklist or practice counter. Generated widgets use a sandbox and need review; cloud generation has usage costs.

Original Dashy
Available on the Chrome Web Store. Its listing shows 10,000+ users and 4.7/5 from 273 ratings. Those ratings belong to the original, not V2.
Dashy V2
In development, with a separate release planned for October 2026. The interactive website scenes are demonstrations. AI support, integrations, pricing and import scope will be confirmed for launch.

Choosing your next dashboard

What makes Dashy V2 different?
The combination: flexible widget dashboards, a quiet Home view, bookmarks and links, a side panel, personal styling, and AI that can work with dashboard tools or help create custom widgets. Choose the pieces that fit your day. V2 is still in development; this is a feature preview, not a claim that every workflow is released.
Can Claude or ChatGPT change my Dashy dashboard?
That is a V2 capability in development. MCP connects an authorized assistant to supported Dashy tools, so it can work with widgets, tasks and notes. It is more than a link that opens a chatbot. Connection availability depends on the assistant, Dashy account access, granted permissions and the release. Public connection instructions will be published when ready.
Can I switch from Momentum, start.me or another new tab without losing anything?
Do not assume an automatic migration or exact feature parity. Compare the specific widgets, integrations, browser support and data you rely on. Keep your existing setup and export important information before switching. V2 migration details and supported imports will be published before launch.
Do I have to use AI?
No. AI is optional. Local tasks, notes, links, layouts and supported everyday widgets remain useful without cloud AI. Cloud services and AI have separate account, permission and usage requirements.
Is this the self-hosted Dashy dashboard?
No. Dashy at dashyapp.com is the new tab dashboard and side panel. The self-hosted dashboard project at dashy.to is a separate product.
