Best productivity dashboards with AI: five different fits

The best AI productivity dashboard is the one connected to the work you actually need help with. Momentum fits a focus-oriented new tab. Notion fits documents. ClickUp fits shared tasks. Taskade fits agent workflows. Dashy V2 is worth following if you want a personal widget dashboard that can work with AI assistants.

Those are different jobs. Picking a winner by counting AI features would hide the most useful distinction: where will you use this thing on an ordinary Tuesday?

How we compared: this is an editorial shortlist based on official product documentation reviewed in September 2026, not a performance benchmark or an exhaustive market ranking. We make Dashy. Choose the workspace before the assistant

Momentum: start with the day in front of you

Momentum Plus combines a personal start page with Ask AI, AI notes, a Pomodoro timer and task integrations. That puts writing help near the place where you check your daily focus.

Consider it if the first minute of your day is the problem: you open a tab, see ten possible destinations and lose the thread. A focused landing page is a sensible intervention. You may not need an assistant that rearranges your workspace or a collection of custom tools.

Try one realistic task before deciding. Open a note, use the AI to help shape an outline, and see whether the result belongs naturally in your day. If you immediately move everything into another app, the extra convenience may be small.

Notion: useful when the answers are in your documents

Notion AI sits alongside pages, databases, search and connected work. Its documented capabilities include drafting, finding information and taking actions inside the workspace.

That makes it a candidate when your friction sounds like “I know we wrote this down somewhere.” A dashboard containing a project brief, decisions and next steps can be more useful than a visually impressive page of disconnected cards.

The question to ask is how much organization you are prepared to maintain. A team needs agreement on where its source documents live. A solo user needs a structure they can keep up with. AI does not make two contradictory project briefs into one reliable record just because both are searchable.

Choose a small project to evaluate: one brief, one task list and one decision log. Ask a question with an answer you already know, then inspect the source.

ClickUp: look here when ownership matters

ClickUp's task AI documentation describes using Brain in the context of a task. Its wider Brain product is oriented around connected company work.

This is a different buying decision from choosing a pleasant new tab. Teams care about who owns a task, which deadline is authoritative and where a status change appears. A personal checklist cannot substitute for that shared agreement.

Our suggested trial is deliberately unglamorous: use one genuine team task. Check whether AI's answer preserves the owner, due date and unresolved questions. An elegant summary that drops a dependency is worse than a plain task you understand.

If your employer already uses ClickUp successfully, a personal dashboard should help you reach that work rather than create a competing list of truth.

Taskade: for people willing to design a workflow

Taskade brings projects, AI agents and automations into one workspace. It describes agents using project content and workflows acting on that information.

Investigate it when the work repeats: collecting inputs, organizing them and producing an output in a known place. The interesting part is the repeatability, not how many agents you can create.

Start with a task whose result you can check. For example, group a small set of non-sensitive project notes under headings you define. Keep the first attempt away from customer messages or irreversible actions. Decide what a correct result looks like before running it.

An automation that needs a long explanation every time may not be saving much yet. That is a useful finding, not a reason to build a larger workflow.

Dashy V2: a personal dashboard with room to grow

Dashy's direction starts with the browser itself. V2 combines a quiet Home view or a fuller widget layout with notes, tasks, links, calendars, wallpapers and a side panel. Optional AI is being developed around that workspace, including Claude and ChatGPT connections through MCP and custom widgets made from a description.

The appeal is the combination. You could keep a sparse everyday page, use a separate dashboard for a project and bring supported tools beside a webpage when needed. You do not have to turn the whole page into a chat interface.

The release boundary matters: these are V2 preview capabilities. The original Dashy is a separate install. Account eligibility, cloud usage, connector permissions and the final launch package still apply. Read the AI feature guide before treating any example as an available integration.

A better trial than comparing screenshots

Write down three things you did yesterday: perhaps finding a meeting note, choosing a next task and opening a project link. Recreate those in the product you are considering.

Then check four outcomes:

1. Can you reach the useful information without first reorganizing the app?
2. Does AI work with the right context, or do you keep pasting it in?
3. Can you tell a proposed change from a saved change?
4. Is the workspace still useful with AI turned off?

If a product does those well, it deserves a longer trial. If it does not, another model selector is unlikely to fix the fit.
